Poinsettia Pin

P Only

The poinsettia flower on this pin represents Christmas and the true meaning behind it. The flower paints a picture of Jesus; the red petals symbolizing His blood that was shed to save us, and the crown symbolizing His kingship. Jesus came down to the Earth to save humanity from sin. Jesus, being the Son of God, having no sin and then conquered sin and death through his resurrection. He bridged the great divide between us and God and is the only way to Him. Now whoever calls upon the name of Jesus and accepts Him as their Lord and Saviour will be saved.

Jesus is the most precious gift that God gave us. We pray that you would receive this gift and accept the eternal life that God has for you.

Reformation Day (500 Years Anniversary)

Rewind to the Bible, Move Forward with the Bible!

A genuine religious reformation begins within our own Christian beliefs, based on the criterion of the bible. We must be continually reformed within our church community.

In the year 1517, Martin Luther introduced the 95 Thesis of Corruption in the Roman Catholic Church. This began a theological movement in the attempt to restore the authority of the Bible, God's grace, and the faith of Jesus Christ.

Are you familiar with when Reformation Day is celebrated? It is celebrated on October 31st. Unfortunately, it is on the same day as Halloween. As Christians, we want to remain awake and discerned in making sure that this spiritually dark event does not overshadow our biblically meaningful day of the Reformation. S.O.C Ministries has come up the Reformation Flower as a way to help Christians participate in this celebration.

The hope is that churches and Christians would commemorate the Reformation, to restore and convey faith in the Bible. Moreover, the year 2017 is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.

The five petals of the flower represent the five motives of the Reformation.

<The Five 'Solas'>

Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone)

Sola Gratia (Grace Alone)

Sola Fide (Faith Alone)

Solus Christus (Christ Alone)

Soli Deo Gloria (Glory to God Alone)

The shape of each petal symbolizes an embossed trumpet, the Hebrew Shofar. It represents proclamation, triumph, and praise in the bible. The colour purple is to represent the kingship and authority of God, just as the middle crown is to show that only Jesus is our King and Lord.

We hope that this flower will serve as a visual reminder and encouragement to embrace and to live out the faith of the Reformation as Jesus did and is able to do through us! Let rewind back to the truth of the bible and move forward in living biblically!

All Season Pin

A

This SOC flower is composed of four different petals with each displaying the sky in its different forms to convey a special message about life. The clear blue sky is to remind us of the beauty of God’s creation – man who has been wonderfully created in God’s own image and the beautiful world he has been given to live in. The dark and thunderous sky is to portray the broken relationship of God and man due to man’s sin of disobedience, and the inevitable consequence of death that must be served. The red sunlit sky represents the blood that Jesus shed on the cross to pay for man’s sin and His resurrection that followed to bring man salvation and eternal life. The green sky depicts the abundant and fulfilling life that man can receive through believing in Jesus Christ as his Saviour. The crown at the centre once again illustrates that as Jesus Christ is our King, when man repents his sins and believes in Jesus as his Lord and Saviour, he is to receive eternal life in the Kingdom of God.

The SOC flower collection serves as a powerful tool for sharing the gospel and here is how: They say a picture is worth a thousand words and images can transcend language boundaries, so this graphic representation of 'the 4 major themes of the Bible' can help introduce God’s message by naturally inviting people for conversation about life in today’s multicultural and sometimes unreceptive society. We wanted to rethink the way we do evangelism – to pull instead of push - to attract natural interests instead of imposing new beliefs. Our goal is to gently tug on people’s inner curiosity and desire to understand life through the presence of a meaningful flower.
